Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use Aback Stack, including the licence, the support commitment and the limits of the service.
Last updated 21 October 2026
Acceptance
By using Aback Stack you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Aback Stack is operated by Aback Group. Where you buy the kit for a team, the person who makes the purchase confirms that they can bind the organisation.
Licence
The starter kits are released under the Aback Stack License, which is proprietary. The licence text ships in the LICENSE.md file at the root of the repository, and the third party notices page lists the licences of the dependencies.
The licence lets you use the kit to build and sell your own products, and to modify it for that purpose. It does not let you redistribute, resell or publish the kit itself, in whole or in part, whether modified or unmodified.
A purchase is a one-time payment. It buys read access to the private repository of the kit, every version published to it while your access is in place, the documentation, the release notes and email support for the kit. A version you received keeps working under its licence.
Your account
You are responsible for the credentials on your account, for the accuracy of the billing details you provide and for every action taken with your session.
You must be able to enter a binding agreement with us. We may suspend an account that is used to attack the service, to resell access without permission or to violate the law.
Payments and renewals
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Taxes, duties and chargebacks are handled under their terms.
The purchase does not renew. Repository access is granted by Dodo Payments after a verified payment and is removed if the payment is refunded or charged back.
Availability and support
We aim to keep the service and the documentation available, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime for a starter kit purchase.
Support is provided as described on the pricing page. Priority and dedicated support cover the starter kit itself; they do not cover the operation of the product you build with it.
Disclaimer and liability
The service and the kits are provided as is. We do not warrant that a kit will be fit for a particular purpose, that it is free of defects, or that it will never need changes.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the changelog and, where they affect a purchase, by email before they take effect.
Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
