Third-party licenses

The licences for the dependencies and assets bundled with Aback Stack.

The full licence texts are shipped with each package in node_modules after the install command runs, and the licence of the kit itself is in the LICENSE.md file at the root of the repository. Questions about a specific licence can be sent to the support team.

Application licence

The Aback Stack starter kit is a proprietary product. The licence text ships in the LICENSE.md file at the root of the repository.

You get the right to use the kit to build your own products, and to modify it freely for that purpose. You get the right to keep using the version you received for as long as you like, and to sell the products you build with it.

You do not get the right to redistribute, resell or publish the kit itself, in whole or in part, whether modified or unmodified. That is what makes it a paid product.

The software is provided without warranty of any kind, as set out in the terms of service.

What a purchase buys

A one-time purchase includes read access to the private repository, every version published to it while your access is in place and email support for the kit itself.

A version you received stays licensed under the terms it arrived with. A refund or a chargeback ends the access and the licence.

Runtime dependencies

The following runtime dependencies are installed by the documented install command. Their licences ship with the packages themselves.

  • Next.js 16.2, MIT licence.
  • React and React DOM 19.2, MIT licence.
  • next-auth 4.24, ISC licence.
  • bcryptjs 3.0, BSD 3-Clause licence.
  • @tabler/icons-react 3.49, MIT licence.
  • geist 1.8, SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Build and test tooling

The following packages are only used while developing and testing. They are not part of the server bundle.

  • TypeScript 5.9, Apache 2.0 licence.
  • Tailwind CSS 4.2 and @tailwindcss/postcss 4, MIT licence.
  • ESLint 9 and eslint-config-next 16.2, MIT licence.
  • @opennextjs/cloudflare 1.20, MIT licence.
  • wrangler 4, MIT or Apache 2.0 licence.
  • @cloudflare/workers-types, MIT or Apache 2.0 licence.
  • react-test-renderer 19.2, MIT licence.
  • @types/bun, @types/node, @types/react, @types/react-dom and @types/react-test-renderer, MIT licence.

Assets

The Aback mark and the wordmark are the property of Aback Group. They may be used to identify the product. They may not be used to imply an endorsement or to build a competing product.

Keeping this page accurate

The dependency list is reviewed with every release. If you find a dependency that is missing, open an issue and it will be corrected.
